What a pawsome day it was on May 17, 2025, as nearly 70 enthusiastic walkers and their adorable furry companions took to the beautiful Brown’s Creek Trail for the first annual **Happy Trails Animal Walk**! After strutting their stuff along the scenic route, animal lovers converged for a tail wagging good time filled with fun games, such as Bird Bingo, compliments of Spikes and Houles. Participants also enjoyed live music, and delicious lunch courtesy of Victoriano’s Pizzeria. Attendees enjoyed ice-cold beverages with a portion of sales going back to AVA, thanks to River Siren Brewery! Every bite and sip contributed to a great cause—supporting the incredible work of AVA! Attendees eagerly participated in many fabulous prize drawings, featuring fantastic goodies from our amazing local businesses. A shout-out to **Sarahbeth Photography**, who was on hand capturing all the joyful moments and adorable candid shots of our beloved pups and their proud humans.
We were also thrilled to have A Bond Between with us, showcasing a furry friend in need of a forever home. And let’s not forget the tasty gourmet treats from Pet Wants, who made sure our four-legged friends were energized for the journey with delightful snacks at the midway point!
Looking ahead, we’re already buzzing with excitement for next year’s event! We plan to have even more fantastic vendors, more giveaways, and even more opportunities for you and your pets to have a blast together. We can’t wait to welcome all of you back for another unforgettable day filled with wagging tails and joyful cheer!
